Gathered here is a list of reversioned songs by B'z. This includes all officially released songs that have been given alternate versions of varying sorts, including those that changed mixes, tempos, arrangements, lyrics, languages, or added a new guitar solo to an existing track. PLEASE NOTE Reversions are categorized according to the following criteria: RE-RECORDING: Reversions that contain new recorded elements. This could be a complete overhaul with all instruments being re-recorded, or only a smaller portion being changed such as a new guitar solo. REMIX: Reversions that involve elements of an existing track being retooled in some way. ENGLISH: Songs that have been re-recorded into English versions. For a list of all English B'z songs, please see this complete listing. KARAOKE: Rare versions of existing tracks that have the lead vocals removed. LIVE ONLY: Substantially different versions of songs that have only been performed live. UNRELEASED: Any version that was not made available on a single or album that is substantially different from the eventual release. Includes demos and commercial versions.

ALONE SINGLE & ALBUM SONG* (1991)	REMIX: ALONE [Album Version] (1991) Album version from IN THE LIFE that features the English chorus being sung a capella as the intro but otherwise identical to the single. This version was later collected on The Ballads ~Love & B'z~ as well. KARAOKE: ALONE [Karaoke Version] (1992) Karaoke version found only on B'z TV Style SONGLESS VERSION based on the original single.
ARIGATO SINGLE (2004)	UNRELEASED: ARIGATO [Demo Version] This original version of the song served as the theme to TV Asahi's "NETWORK SPORTS 2004" as a tie-in promotion for the eventual single. However, between the time it was being used on the program and the release, B'z retooled the song and updated the song a great deal. The lyrics, arrangement, and pitch differ very significantly throughout in the finalized version. The provisional title for the song was "Soko ni Daremo Inakute mo" (Even If There Should Be No One There), a lyric that remains in both the original and final versions of the song.

BUDDY ALBUM SONG (2006)	UNRELEASED: BUDDY [Demo Version] (2006) Premiered as the Ending SE for B'z LIVE-GYM 2006 "MONSTER'S GARAGE". A studio version that differed greatly would be released the following year on the 2007 studio album ACTION. The original version's lyrics were almost entirely different and featured an arrangement that was significantly different from the released edition.

DIVE SINGLE & ALBUM SONG* (2009)	REMIX: DIVE [Album Version] (2009) Found only on the studio album MAGIC, the reverb vocal intro is removed from the single version and instead starts immediately at the first riff. This is to allow the song to segue from the album's opening track, "Introduction".

Don't Wanna Lie SINGLE & ALBUM SONG (2011)	RE-RECORDING: Don't Wanna Lie ~Ballad Version~ (2011) Only available as a part of a special campaign from the single's release. Those who purchased both editions received a CD in the mail with the song and were also eligible to win a signed copy of the flag from the cover.

Happy Birthday ALBUM SONG (2006)	LIVE ONLY: Happy Birthday [Demo Version] (2005) Premiered live during B'z LIVE-GYM 2005 "CIRCLE OF ROCK" and performed live again a year later but in acoustic form as part of B'z LIVE-GYM 2006 "MONSTER'S GARAGE". A studio version would be released prior to the latter tour, but would differ from both versions. The lyrics and arrangement of the studio edition were an amalgam of the two live versions, but without the bright keyboard part present in the 2005 performance.

Lonely Stars B-SIDE (2007)	UNRELEASED: Lonely Stars [Demo Version] The eventual studio version of the song would be featured as the theme to the anime film Fist of the North Star. This alternate version, however, was played prior to screenings and featured different lyrics and an altered arrangement than what would be found as the B-side to "Eien no Tsubasa".
