Koshi Inaba (稲葉浩志 Inaba Kōshi) was born on September 23, 1964, in Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture. His real name is Hiroshi Inaba (稲葉浩志 Inaba Hiroshi). 

General

He graduated form the Faculty of Education at the Yokohama National University, and has a degree in mathematics. Formerly working as as session musician he send a demo tape to Tak Matsumoto who was searching for a vocalist to found his own band in 1988. After the first meeting Koshi was the new vocalist and songwriter for B'z.

Solo Career

During his solo-career he also worked with many artist abroad in the US. Beside providing vocals for Toshiya "Ran" Matsukawa's 1985 Album "Burning" he sang the song "Asian Sky" from Steve Vai's Album "The Ultra Zone".
2009 he featured Slash's solo album "Slash". He sang on the first single "Sahara" that was released in November 2009 in Japan.

Until now Koshi has released four solo albums and four singles.

Influences

His musical influences are Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Queen, and Guns N' Roses. Beside beeing a big fan of Elvis Presley Koshi respects David Coverdale (Whitesnake), Robert Plant(Led Zeppelin), Axl Rose(Guns'n'Roses) and especially Steven Tyler(Aerosmith) as vocalists.

Given that he had previously released two singles and studio albums prior to the tour, with a third released shortly after its conclusion, Koshi had plenty of material for the many dates of the tour that lasted from mid-July to late August 2004. The setlist changed a great many times during the tour's run and featured only Koshi's solo material with no B'z songs included.
