Electric Island, Acoustic Sea is a studio album by Tak Matsumoto and Hawaiian multi-instrumentalist Daniel Ho, released on February 8, 2017. This is the first collaboration between the two Grammy Award-winning musicians and Tak's second such collaboration after 2010's TAKE YOUR PICK with American jazz legend Larry Carlton. The album received a simultaneous worldwide release when it was made available internationally on iTunes at launch.
The tour was supported by Tak Matsumoto & Daniel Ho Live! 2017 -Electric Island, Acoustic Sea- that held shows throughout Japan and had its final showing in Hawaii at Blue Note Hawaii.
