Recording already began in May 2010, 2 months after the two had wrapped up their LIVE-GYM 2010 Ain't no Magic tour. Despite the fact that both were busy with their respective solo projects, they had the time to meet up occasionally in the studio and do work on some of their new tracks for their upcoming album. Usually they work out a theme for their new record, but this time they just composed new songs without having a theme in mind. Later on, they would eventually come up with a theme... It's not really a theme, however, but more of a certain mindset called "C'mon".
