Playing guitar is more than just strings and chords. Effects are what made it really cool and since you need a lot of them you put them into a rig. Those rigs are composed of whatever you need to create your sound.
Tak Matsumoto mostly plays on Signature Guitars from Gibson. Lately the Dunlop Cry Baby was revamped as a Tak Matsumoto Signature but there is more to that.
Over the years he has assembled a lot of rigs for different reasons and different sounds.
The rigs listed here are years old but still give a good impression on Taks taste for effects and amps.
